Mercury Drugstore Hold up

I’m talking about nothing else but the one in our dear San Francisco. It was sometime last week, I believe. I’ve heard about it (and I already confirmed it) not just from one person but they all weren’t able to provide details. Whatever, the thought’s sometimes more important above all.

Kenneth Diza in Japan (onwards)

If you have been observing the calender, then you have already realized that Kenneth is, by now, already out of the country. As a matter of fact, he called me that very day (which woke me up from my slumber). Their flight was early and he said he merely wanted to consume all his prepaid load for it will no longer be of use out of the country. Below was a message from him after dropping the call:

Ad2 nku. . See you nxt yr. .

Phew, let’s wish all the best for Lagat. I will definitely demand for libre when he gets back. Haha. According to him, from Japan they will ride the vessel that will then take them to the US. Sounds cool, huh. Speaking of foreign matters, here’s an update picture of Raro in Singapore (echos):

Raro in Singapore Update

Last Thursday night he called me straight from Singapore. Would you believe that? Hilas kaayo ang tinuhak! ~ “Uhm, hello this is the dean…” ~ Yeah, right. I think it was a “free call” like the one we sometimes have here. :P

The site has been down for two days or so and it took me a lot of patience before eventually finding an absolute solution. I hate that Fatal error.

Singapore and High Blood

Last Monday night a classmate of mine surprisingly called and told me that it’s the so-called “Free Call”. It was true. I called a very few which included Jesha. We had small and quick conversations (as the line would suddenly cut) and indeed, John Paul is going to Singapore for another on-the-job training (OJT). In fact, he already left last Friday. I already heard this from Joey when we met but I was not convinced. I don’t know ha, but what’s up with the students from MSU having such OJT’s? He’s been lurking in the site lately. Lurking, you ask? Well, he’s not leaving any comment in any post or a message in the shoutbox but instead leaves them in the guestbook. And now that I’ve mentioned it, let me tell you that Ma’am Nonie Dagondon dropped by here. It seems accidental, and I wonder how. Read her message yourselves. :D

A news that Armando’s father was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) because of high blood reached me. Let’s hope for a good health for him. Health is wealth, guys. Always plant that in your alimpatakans.

Walking the Streets of Manila

Whew, I’ve been waiting to make this post. Last September 1-8 I was in Manila (just like last year) to attend an IT congress called Y4iT. Rubi (Candy) met me at SM North Edsa and from there she accompanied us to the boarding house she negotiated with for our lodging. At around 11:00, the two of us had to go out to fetch one of my companions. We waited at McDonald’s in PHILCOA where she forcefully made me buy her something.

Joey Mangadlao in Bali, Indonesia

As of this moment, our valedictorian is out doing research-related (yet again) stuff. He told me all about it when I interrogated him in our chat several weeks ago. However, I totally forgot about it if it weren’t for Mama Corazon who heard the news from Ma’am Mateo. Two nights ago, I unexpectedly caught him in invisible mode in Yahoo! Messenger. And so I learned that he left on the 2nd and will be back on the 10th. He told me that he’s staying in a hotel and that they visited Singapore first before going to Indonesia. Below is our conversation before he left the country.
